Currently based ins southwest Colorado, Scott Warren has been photographing professionally for over thirty years. In 1980 he received a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in photography from Utah State University. In 1998 he was awarded an Alicia Patterson Fellowship for his work in Siberia. He has photographed for Audubon, the Getty Conservation Institute, National Geographic World, Newsweek, Ranger Rick, The Nature Conservancy, Time, Smithsonian and U.S. News & World Report. He has had nine books published by Chronicle Books, Mountaineers Books and Northland Press. Assignments have taken him to such locales as Brazil, Central America, China, Cuba, Europe, Iceland, India, Nepal, Peru, Siberia and southeast Asia.
